Provide consultation to Department executives on safety strategy and safety management, safety culture, management systems, strategies and implementation for safety issue resolution, policy and program development and integration, and written and oral presentation.  Facilitate Board review of DOE draft directives and standards.  Manage overall office infrastructure for the Departmental Representative.

Engineering
Management Consultant Supporting the DOE Departmental Representative to the DNFSB, developed regulatory strategies and implementation plans; developed Interface Manual and Safety Issues Management System; produced Annual Reports to Congress.
1/93 - 12/94 United Energy Services Manager Engineering Services Supporting DOE EH, provided training, analysis, and interpretations on DOE safety orders and standards on safety analysis, design, design reconstitution, operations, and configuration management.
4/89 - 12/92 Technical and Field Engineering Senior Engineering Consultant Supported Westinghouse VP of K-Reactor Restart, by managing 60 engineers in technical evaluation of over 1800 safety issues and managing resolution of DNFSB issues on operations, training, and design. 
9/86 - 4/89 United Energy Services Senior Engineer Supported restart of Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station by performing licensing, safety  evaluations, regulatory analysis, policy and program development, and executive presentations.
7/82 - 9/86 Duke Power Company Compliance Engineer For Oconee Nuclear Station, managed interface with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.  Performed reactor physics testing, transient analysis, and core performance evaluation.
