Resource on Dietary Supplement Research Projects
The CARDS (Computer Access to Research on Dietary Supplements) Database is a way to learn about dietary supplement research projects funded by NIH, the Department of Agriculture, and the Department of Defense. The database is sponsored by the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements. At press time, it covered projects funded from fiscal years 1999 to 2005, with more updates planned. You can search by supplement name, type of study, health outcome/biological effect, and/or other criteria. Records include an abstract and links to pertinent publications.
