Podcasts are video and audio broadcasts that can be
downloaded over the internet. DoDDS-Europe has podcast
files available online. After downloading them you can
listen to them on your portable mp3 player or computer.
Podcasting
software is used to subscribe to the podcasts, as well
as to view the files and transfer them to a media-playing
device. Below are external links to third party free
podcasting software you can download and install on
your computer.

Many
internet users consider iTunes to be user friendly and
reliable. Here are instructions for its use:
1)
If you do not have a current version of iTunes running
on your computer, download and install it from the link
above.
2)
Once you have iTunes installed, make sure that the default
Music Store page is set to “USA” for the
English language menus. (Go to the bottom of the page
and select USA from the drop down menu),
3)
You can access the DoDDS Europe podcasts by doing the
following:

Click on "iTunes store" on the left side
of the screen,
· Type “DoDDS Europe “ in the search
window in the top right hand corner of the screen
on the "iTunes Store homepage,"
The DoDDS Europe Podcast page should now appear
on your screen
· To see the individual episodes, click on
the DoDDS-Europe logo at the top. Then either click
"Get Episode" (this button is to the far
right of your screen) to get an individual podcast
that interests you, or click "Subscribe"
to automatically download each new episode to your
computer as it becomes available.
