This report details how the Army is learning to achieve its mission through the practice of transformational systems-thinking, as inspired by the applied concept of sustainability called the "Triple Bottom Line-Plus."

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers created the Sustainable Design and Development Directory of Expertise at its Savannah District. The SDD DX will be supported by the Center for the Advancement of Sustainability Innovations at the Engineer Research and Development Center, Construction Engineering Research Laboratory as an element for technology support and colloboration with the U.S. Green Building Council and other organizations engaged in research and development for future tools.

This report (EPA/600/R-07/045F) compiles the most reliable indicators available to help understand important trends in the environment and human health. The report was made available on May 20, 2008. The report was prepared by the National Center for Environmental Assessment (NCEA) within the U.S. Environmental Proection Agency (EPA) Office of Research and Development (ORD) with significant input from partners across EPA and other federal agencies.

Limited to federal employees, the ESPC (Energy Savings Performance Contract) Comprehensive Workshop is a three-day workshop that outlines how to implement energy and water projects through ESPCs.
This conference is designed to bring together military and industrial personnel to openly share information about the state-of-the-art in the alternative fuels and advanced power areas as well as ideas for the future. The focus is on leveraging shared knowledge of liquid-based alternative fuels, fuel cells, and other advanced energy technologies to current ground, water, and air vehicle applications.
This session is sponsored by the USACE Learning Center (ULC). Enrollment is open to all Government personnel, both military and civilian. The ULC Web Site provides detailed registration information.

This session is sponsored by the US Army Office of the Provost Marshal General (OPMG). The target audience for this session is primarily Physical Security Specialists in the Army. Registration is being managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers Electronic Security Center (ESC).
