Ohio Ohio gives priority to all forms of cash child support first (e.g., current support, periodic arrears, fees, reimbursements) and the medical insurance premium second. This priority is dictated by Ohio Revised Code section 3119.36(B) which requires an employer to return the NMSN without action if the combined total of the support payment and the medical insurance premium exceeds CCPA.
