Wyoming's Child Care and Development Fund Quality Infant/Toddler Earmark:

FY 2006: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark is $137,338.

FY 2004: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark was $150,571.

The funds are used in the following ways to enhance the Wyoming infant and toddler child care system (additional funds may be used to support these activities):

  • To conduct PITC trainer institutes for the purpose of increasing the number of trainers in the state to increase the frequency of training opportunities and the number of locations where it is offered.
  • To deliver intensive trainings (inlcuding PITC) to assist providers in meeting the educational requirements for the Infant/Toddler Director’s Credential (this credential is required of all child care programs who serve four or more infants).

*Wyoming reported these uses of the earmark funds in both the FY 2004 and the FY 2006 plan.
