FY 2006: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark is $907,524.

FY 2004: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark was $914,213.

The funds are used in the following ways to enhance the New Mexico infant and toddler child care system (additional funds may be used to support these activities)*:

  • To fund a higher reimbursement rate for infant and toddlers.
  • To pay an additional $75 per month to accredited programs that care for infants and toddlers.
  • To support participation of providers caring for infants and toddlers in AIM HIGH , which provides technical assistance and limited financial incentives for program improvement to support programs' work toward accreditation.

*New Mexico reported these uses of the earmark funds in both the FY 2004 and the FY 2006 plan.
