Summary of New Jersey's Work as Part of the Initiative (2003-2004):
New Jersey developed an infant/toddler caregiver credential and worked on
implementation. They also worked on establishing infant/toddler specialists in CCR&Rs and developing a series of
position papers on increasing the availability of quality infant/toddler child care in the state.
New Jersey's Child Care and Development Fund Quality Infant/Toddler Earmark:
FY 2006: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark is $1,806,572.
