Maryland's Child Care and Development Fund Quality Infant/Toddler Earmark:
FY 2006: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark for FY 2006 is $1,287,177.
The funds are used in the following ways to enhance the Maryland infant and toddler child care system (additional funds may be used to support these activities):
- Training, mentoring, technical assistance and/or other incentives to child care providers caring for infants and toddlers.
- Children's Mental Health Pilots.
FY 2004: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark for FY 2004 was $1,384,275.
The funds were used in the following ways to enhance the Maryland infant and toddler child care system (additional funds may have been used to support these activities):
- Training, mentoring, technical assistance and/or other incentives to child care providers caring for infants and toddlers.
- To increase the number of slots available for infants and toddlers.
- To provide services to parents trying to locate affordable and accessible quality care for infants and toddlers.
