Delaware's Child Care and Development Fund Quality Infant/Toddler Earmark:
FY 2006 : The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark for FY 2006 is $221,774.
The funds are used in the following ways to enhance the Delaware infant and toddler child care system (additional funds may be used to support these activities):
- Project INSITE, which administers the ITERS in individual child care programs and then helps them create an improvement plan based on the results. The project also provides some funding to help programs implement their improvement plans.
- Targeted training and education of center-based administrators in the design and implementation of quality programming for infants and toddlers.
FY 2004:
The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark for FY 2004 was $215,826.
The funds were used in the following ways to enhance the Delaware infant and toddler child care system (additional funds may have been used to support these activities):
- Project INSITE, which administers the ITERS in individual child care programs and then helps them create an improvement plan based on the results. The project also provides some funding to help programs implement their improvement plans.
- Infant and Toddler Lecture Series, which includes 3 seminars in 2004 on the topics of temperament and behavior guidance for infants and toddlers, and assessment of infants and toddlers.
