Program Description
The Montgomery GI Bill (Active Duty) is an
educational assistance program enacted by Congress to attract high quality
men and women into the Armed Forces.
The
program provides education and training opportunities to eligible persons
who have served—or are serving—on active duty.
General Program Requirements
You must have served on active duty, or you must
be on active duty at the present
time.
Length-of-service requirements
usually apply, and an honorable discharge is always
required.
