Region's avocado output expected to dip
After a devastating freeze in the first days of 2007, wind and fires that ripped through thousands of acres of avocados in Riverside and San Diego counties months later dashed hopes for a record harvest.
But disasters didn't stop an ample harvest, the California Avocado Commission said.
