Time-lapse satellite images of changes on the Earth's surface. Need to order original images depending on the quality of the digital files that can be downloaded. For example, the two Hubbard Glacier images for 1985 (E-1564-810CT) and 1986 (E-1566-810CT) can be ordered with those accession numbers directly from the U.S. Geological Survey's EROS Data Center (EDC). Categories of images (numbers of images in parentheses) include: miscellaneous (7), agriculture (12), cities (14), deserts (8), disasters (6), forests (7), geology (5), water (14), and wildlife (8). Each of the paired images is accompanied by an explanatory text that should also be downloaded.

The Website shows NASA's use of Earth remote sensing data for scientific and commercial applications. Daily image updates. Climate and environmental changes on Earth are measured by various NASA satellites. Organized around the following Earth System topics: atmosphere, oceans, land, energy, and life. Key terms are linked to a glossary. Includes Datasets, Reference, Features, and Experiment for each topic.
