Information for Translators of CDS and Cataloger's Learning Workshop products

The Cataloging Distribution Service (CDS) occasionally receives requests for permission to translate various cataloging publications and Cataloger's Learning Workshop (CLW) courseware. While CDS is committed to making its cataloging standards and training materials available to the international community, it is very important that the Library of Congress coordinate translation efforts in the interest of providing consistent technical support.

If you are interested in translating or distributing the translation of a CDS or CLW product please download the translation agreement form (directly below) and fill it out completely. Sign the agreement and return all pages to CDS either by email attachment, fax or mail as instructed in the form. CDS will respond to your request and provide instructions on how to proceed.
