Solicitations to purchase commodities are issued monthly to approved commodity suppliers and steamship lines. Bids are entered through the
Commodity Operations System (COS) competing at the lowest landed cost (commodity and freight). These
solicitations (and amendments) are available in
COS by clicking on the Public Information button.
Archived solicitations/invitations (and amendments) are available for five years.
The Purchase Contract Awards (PCA's) list the commodities purchased for international distribution for each solicitation issued. The
PCA's are available for three weeks.
Archived PCA's are available for six years.
