Future Leaders Program

Future Leaders Program header
"Your Country...Your Choice...Your Future"

NNSA is looking for the next generation of leadership. The objective of the Future Leaders Program (FLP) is to develop competent professionals to ultimately manage programs and projects within the NNSA, including managing national defense weapons-related programs at both nuclear and non-nuclear facilities while helping to strengthen national security.  The FLP is in the market for recent college graduates with a strong background in engineering, science, business or security.

The NNSA Future Leaders program is both a learning experience and a monumental opportunity for growth.  As an FLP participant, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee cutting edge nuclear weapons science development and safety programs.   The FLP provides experiences that will build and strengthen your technical knowledge as you apply theory to real world problems in actual work situations.  During this two-year program, you will rotate within the nuclear weapons complex in order to obtain a broad knowledge of NNSA facilities nationwide. While participating, you will be involved in an aggressive internal training program that will provide you the essential tools needed to have a successful career in the NNSA.

If you looking for an employer who can offer you a competitive salary, provide a long-term career, and allow you to make a difference in the safety and security of our nation- then this is the career you’ve been preparing for!  To learn more about this program, including requirements, benefits, descriptions of potential career openings, duty locations, or upcoming recruitment please visit the Future Leaders web site.
