The Science Information Division developed the Southwest Region Permit system is to allow the Region and Center to manage the day-to-day processing and issuance of permits. The system has been developed using Oracle in a web based data entry environment. The Oracle Relational Database Management System is an extremely powerful tool for managing records. Although not all capabilities are utilized in the current permit system, modifications overtime will ensure greater accuracy. As a user of the system, your input is needed to provide enhancements.
