Program Description
Unemployment insurance benefits provide temporary financial
assistance to workers unemployed through no fault of their own that meet
Minnesota's eligibility requirements.
General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must have worked
in Minnesota during the past 12 to 18 months, and have earned at least a
minimum amount of wages as determined by our guidelines. You must also be
able to work and available for work each week that you are collecting
benefits.

In order to establish your Minnesota unemployment benefits, you
should file an application on the first day that you are unemployed or your
work hours are reduced by either completing the application on-line, by
calling TELECLAIM, or by downloading and returning the
application.
