We do not collect personal information about you when you visit a NNSA Service Center web site, unless otherwise stated, unless you choose to provide this information to us. However, we collect and store certain information automatically.

How We Use the Data
This information is NOT shared with anyone beyond the support staff to the NNSA Service Center website, except when required by Law Enforcement investigation.   We use the summary statistics to help us make our site more useful to visitors, such as assessing what information is of most and least interest to visitors, and for other purposes such as determining the site's technical design specifications and identifying system performance or problem areas.

 

We do not share this information with outside parties and we use return email addresses to answer the email.  Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.


No one outside of the NNSA Service Center has access to the information we collect.   We use this information to improve our service to you or to respond to your request.


Data Retention

Information collected on this website is retained for a specified period of time depending on the type of request/inquiry submitted. The majority of the information collected on this website is not retained for more than a brief period of time necessary to make use of it during the course of a single online interaction or is retained long enough to complete a website activity. Information shall be discarded at the earliest time possible. No personal identifying information is maintained on the website. Some information may be retained offline for an indefinite period of time to meet record keeping requirements.

You may choose to provide us with personal information, as in an e-mail message containing your comments or questions. There are times when your message is forwarded, as e-mail, to other NNSA employees who may be better able to help you.
