You have the option of downloading the data that is used by the Nursing Home Compare tool onto your computer. The data will be downloaded as zipped Microsoft Access databases. This function is primarily used by health policy researchers and the media. For information about nursing homes in a particular geographical area, you should use the Nursing Home Compare tool instead of downloading the data.

In order to ease the downloading process, the data have been divided into 5 separate databases.
