PERM conducts reviews of eligibility determinations made by states for Medicaid and SCHIP, in order to identify ineligible beneficiaries. States will conduct the reviews of their determinations, and then provide their findings to CMS for calculation of an eligibility error rate. For Fiscal Year (FY) 2007 and FY 2008 States, they should be submitting their findings using the PERM Eligibility Tracking Tool (PETT). The instructions in how to submit their findings is listed on this page and the link can be found at the bottom of this page. For FY 2009 States, they will be submitting their findings using the PERM Error Rate Tracking (PERT) website. The link is located at the bottom of this page. Additional information on eligibility reviews can be found in the PERM Cycle Documents list on the left menu.
