Test and Evaluation (T&E)

DT&E is the office of primary responsibility for monitoring and providing recommendations on the T&E acquisition workforce education, training, and certification. As such, the Deputy Director, DT&E is the Chairman of the T&E Functional Integrated Process Team (FIPT). The SSE Education and Training webpage provides additional information about DAWIA and FIPT responsibilities. The T&E FIPT is comprised of Service and Agency T&E and Directors for Acquisition Career Management (DACM) Representatives. It is guided by the mission to have a T&E acquisition workforce that can efficiently and effectively support answering "Did we build the Right Thing & Did we build it Right."

Modeling and Simulation

DT&E also sponsored two Test and Evaluation (T&E) career field related continuous learning modules that were developed to provide the respective workforces with supplemental training on topics that were not covered in any depth in the certification curriculum, but were determined to be important to the career field roles and responsibilities: CLE 0011 Modeling & Simulation for Systems Engineering and CLE 023 Modeling & Simulation for Test and Evaluation.
