The Marine For Life Program Management Office administers and supports the Marine For Life transition assistance program and the Marine For Life-Injured Support program for seriously injured Marines, Navy personnel injured while serving with Marines, and their families. The Marine For Life (M4L) transition assistance program assists Marines as they move from active duty to civilian life by using a Marine-friendly network of employers, organizations and individuals. Reserve Marines, called Hometown Links, are based in communities across the country to build and maintain the local network and directly assist Marines coming to their area. The program is administered electronically through the M4L website. Transitioning Marines can communicate with their Hometown Link (HTL), post resumes, and conduct their own search for jobs, employers, mentors and community resources via the website. The M4L program team manages the M4L website and the M4L IMA detachment. Billet vacancies for Hometown Links are advertised on the M4L website.
