A seagull flies over the California Coastal National Monument which stretches along the entire coast of California and extends 12 miles into the Pacific Ocean.  The Monument includes 20,000 rocks, islands, pinnacles and reefs.

Alabama Hills Community Spirit Day!

WHAT VOLUNTEERS WILL DO:  We will be cleaning up the Alabama Hills in anticipation of the Lone Pine Film Festival on October 10th thru the 12th.

WHEN: Saturday, October 4th, 8 a.m. sharp!

WHERE: Meet at the McDonalds of Lone Pine. After a satisfying breakfast provided by McDonalds, we will head up to the hills and spend 3 hours sprucing up the public lands for the film festival.

HOW TO VOLUNTEER: Show up at McDonalds at 8 a.m. sharp. Dress casually - comfortable shoes, gloves, hat, sunscreen. BLM will provide tools, trash bags and drinks.
