Ralph Rozevink ( Hemet , CA.): Ralph is a Senior Corps community safety volunteer with the Hemet Police Department. Interested in doing his part to reduce crime and increase his community’s sense of security, Ralph, with his own special brand of charisma, got on the ball and contacted several downtown merchants. Ralph convinced them to purchase bicycles for a volunteer community safety patrol. Today, in twos and threes, Hemet Police volunteers, usually with Ralph in the lead position, can be found cruising the downtown area of Hemet . Crime, graffiti and vandalism have all been reduced and area merchants and the public alike truly appreciate Ralph and the contribution he has made to his community. |
