January 2009 Programs

WBC Roundtables

"Negotiations!"

For 2009, our mantra is:  Make time to work ON your business as well as in your business.  To that end, we are kicking off our Programming season with a bang.  Our topic for January:  Negotiations!  Join us at our Roundtables (the last in the evening format) to hear our speakers present strategies for negotiation, negotiating with men, and winning techniques to walk away from the table with what you want.  We know that women and men negotiate differently.  Come and learn how to come away from a negotiation with everyone feeling like a winner.  We will discuss how to determine your walk-away point, the strategy of “going to the balcony”, listening strategies, and we will engage in practice negotiations with those present.  Whether it is a lease negotiation, loan negotiation, sales negotiations – you will pick up valuable tips to help along the way.

Group Coaching

with Gail Zona

Are you asking yourself these questions: How do I get more sales? What can I do about this recession? Why don’t I ever seem to have enough cash? Why am I not making any money? My customers are all cutting back—what do I do?

Or perhaps your questions are: I do the same year after year—how do I get out of this rut? Where do I find more sales leads? How do I get money to fund my business?

Or even: When do I hire someone? When do I move from my home office into a real office? Should I take on partners?

The Group Coaching Sessions are the way to answer your questions and make your business soar. For 2 hours each month, we meet to discuss topics designed to help you learn how to manage, plan for, and run your business like the CEO’s at the fastest growing companies in the world. Handouts and worksheets are carefully designed to help you gain insight into your business. Meeting monthly insures that you will spend at least 2 hours each month thinking strategically about your business…the key to growing it. Interactive discussion with peers and the facilitator, an experienced business coach, provides tips, techniques and ideas you can put to use the very next day.

For only $30/session, the same price as a week of  Starbucks coffees, you can get results like these participants did: grew revenues 5 times over when she started; cut marketing costs in half and still grew her sales; increased her bottom line 20% and put more money in her pocket by cutting out the products that were not profitable. So, what are you waiting for? Sign up now and enter 2009 with a smile on your face!

The Group Coaching Sessions are facilitated by Gail Zona, an experienced business coach and MBA, who designed these sessions to help micro-entrepreneurs succeed. Based on her years of experience as an executive in fast-growing, high-tech startups, Gail designed a series of facilitated, structured coaching sessions using the best ideas available to jump-start micro-entrepreneurs and put them on the fast track. Now entering their 4th year, these sessions are educational, practical, and have shown remarkable results.
