Antarctic Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Institute (A3RI)
Part of the Space Science and Engineering Center (SSECC), University of Wisconsin at Madison, A3RI conducts and promotes astrophysical research, particularly on and involving the continent of Antarctica; aims to promote science education and outreach. Includes links to: AMANDA Project -- Antarctic Muon And Neutrino Detector Array; IceCube Project -- a proposed kilometer-scale neutrino observatory that extends AMANDA capabilities, includes links to collaborating organizations; and Ice Coring and Drilling Services (ICDS) -- providing ice coring and drilling services to NSF funded projects, includes information on drilling systems.

Antarctic Automatic Weather Stations
(http://amrc.ssec.wisc.edu/aws.html)
The National Science Foundation Office of Polar Programs automatic weather station project places automatic weather station (AWS) units in remote areas of Antarctica in support of meteorological research and operations. The AWS data are collected by the ARGOS Data Collection System (DCS) on board the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) series of polar-orbiting satellites. User can access real-time data and choose by region and station(s) of interest: weather station observations, satellite images, surface observations, navigation tracks, numerical weather prediction displays, ship and buoy observations, pilot reports, upper air/radiosonde observations, webcam images...

Antarctic Climate & Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre (ACECRC)
Focuses on management of Antarctic marine ecosystem resources, atmospheric and oceanic processes in the Southern Ocean, global and regional climate change. Provides information on research programs, opportunities for training and employment, scholarships and other funding, seminars and conferences, special projects, news and general information. Links to full text issues of the Australian Antarctic Magazine, articles, reports, manuals. Also links to Antarctic automatic weather station data set.

Antarctic Meteorological Research Center
(http://uwamrc.ssec.wisc.edu/amrc.html)
Real-time meteorological and remotely sensed data available from AMRC. Meteorological and remotely sensed archived data and images available upon request through the AMRC. Links to news, events, meetings, etc.

Antarctica Project
