Wesley T. Foster
Deputy Assistant Secretary for Management and Budget
Wesley T. Foster was appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary for Management and Budget of the Department of the Treasury in May 2005. In this position, Mr. Foster performs a broad array of financial and management matters for the Department, including: financial management and accounting, strategic planning, performance budgeting, performance metrics, management analysis, and implementation of the President’s Management Agenda at the Treasury Department.
Prior to joining Treasury, Mr. Foster was the Director for Administration for the 2004 Republican National Convention, Committee on Arrangements in New York, NY. Mr. Foster previously served the George W. Bush Administration as Deputy Chief of Staff and White House Liaison at the Federal Emergency Management Agency from 2002-2003. From 1999-2001 he served as the Deputy Director for Treasury on the Bush-Cheney 2000 Campaign and as the Comptroller of the Bush-Cheney Presidential Transition Foundation.
A native of Annandale, Virginia, he received a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech.
