About PDF Files
The Farm Service Agency provides certain files on this web site in Portable Document Format (PDF). PDF files are printer independent that can easily print a duplicate of the original publication using any graphics printer (i.e., laser, inkjet, dot-matrix or plotter).
The PDF was developed by Adobe Systems, Inc. and allows the user to print a publication close in appearance to the original version, preserving typography, columns, charts, tables and graphics.
To read and print a PDF publication, you must first have Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your PC. Adobe Systems, Inc. offers this software to the public free of charge. You can download the Adobe Reader version suitable for your system from the Adobe Home Page.
Helping people with visual disabilities access electronic information
Access.Adobe.Com is a tool that allows blind and visually impaired users to read any document in Adobe PDF format. The tool converts PDF documents into simple HTML or ASCII text which can then be read by a number of common screen reading programs that synthesize the HTML as audible speech.
Access.Adobe.Com is not intended as a fully featured PDF to
