Governor Crist Names Labarga to Florida Supreme Court
ST. PETERSBURG – Governor Charlie Crist today named Judge Jorge Labarga of Wellington to the Florida Supreme Court. Judge Labarga, 55, is Governor Crist’s third appointment to the seven-member high court. He will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Justice Harry Lee Anstead, who has served on the Florida Supreme Court since 1994.
