Graduation Requirements

The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific is committed to high academic standards. Students must have 24 credits to graduate, as established by Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Regulation 2000.1.

DoDDS Pacific Current Graduation Requirements
Required Courses

English 9, 10,11, 12
(Two years of ESL may be substituted for two years of English.)

Social Studies
(One credit of U.S. History and one half credit of U.S. Government are required.)

Mathematics
(Two credits must be earned in course work that includes algebra and geometry.)

Science
(All courses must contain a laboratory component.)

Second (foreign) Language
(A total of two credits in the same second (foreign) language.)

Career Education
(Courses to meet this credit are listed in the regulation.)

Fine Arts:
(Related courses: art, music, drama, dance, and humanities. An aesthetic product is required.)
