Reference
USACE libraries answer reference questions via e-mail and telephone. Please contact us by e-mail at library@usace.army.mil or by phone at (978) 318-8349. You can also check the directory to find the contact information for a specific USACE library.
Interlibrary Loan
Most USACE libraries borrow and lend their materials to other libraries through regional networks as well as through OCLC Resource Sharing. Requests to borrow materials must come from another library; we are unable to lend materials directly to individuals outside of the Corps of Engineers.
Please search the USACE Libraries Catalog to find the materials that you are looking for and to identify the library which holds that material. Contact the library directly to learn about their lending policies and to find out how they accept ILL requests.
Access
Some USACE libraries are open to the public. If you are interested in visiting a USACE library, call ahead to inquire about the policies specific to that library and facility. Specific hours of operation vary from one library to another, most during regular business hours, so please call ahead to make an appointment to ensure that a library staff member will be there to speak with you.
