Commodity Complaints

The Food and Nutrition Service’s Food Distribution Division (FDD) delivers food to recipients through several nutrition assistance programs.  FDD monitors commodity complaints and coordinates the resolution of health hazardous with the FNS Food Safety Unit for States, Indian Tribal Organizations (ITOs), and recipient agencies participating in any of the Food Distribution Programs (FDP).
 
To report a commodity complaint involving a USDA product, please be aware of the following:

ALL recipient agency commodity complaints should be processed through your State Distributing Agency or Indian Tribal Organization

If for some reason you are unable to reach your State Distributing Agency, you may report your complaint directly to the FNS Commodity Complaint Team by any of the following ways:
