Recent Features added to Epi Info™
  • Microsoft Windows Vista is supported.
  • Epi Info™ includes a new standard vocabulary feature in MakeView.
The new feature allows the use of a standard vocabulary database, such as one from the Public Health Information Network (PHIN). This feature enables the use and exchange of consistent information among public health partners. This feature will enhance Public Health by promoting the use of vocabularies that are aligned with various healthcare industry standards such as ICD-0, HL7, and FIPS.
  • Additional changes — In version 3.4.3, there was a problem where the system in the MakeView Check Code editor was replacing the line break with an unknown character causing a syntax error for If-Then-Else statements. Now the system correctly displays If-Then-Else statements and executes the commands without error.
