Notice

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these regulations for exporting animals or animal products to a foreign country, you should contact the APHIS-VS Area Office in the State from which the animals or products will be exported.


Nigeria - Summary of Requirements

The following protocols for exporting animals to Nigeria are available through the International Regulations Retrieval System (IRRS).

PLEASE NOTE:

In order to import animals into Nigeria, the importer/exporter needs to fax or phone Dr. Fasanmi, CVO, with the following information to obtain the import requirements for each importation:

  1. Type of animal and intended use
  2. Vaccination regimes
  3. Origin of animal and location for past 3 months
  4. Port of entry into Nigeria.
