Parents, please fill out the DoDEA Customer Satisfaction Survey. This is very important to our school. We use the information for our School Improvement Plan to make changes to better serve our students.

 

The DoDEA Community Strategic Plan (CSP) contains the strategic direction for the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) for the years 2006-2011. The plan is a road map for keeping DoDEA at the forefront in advancing the Department of Defense's agenda for education and as a leader in the Nation for improving student performance and achievement. The 2008 Alignment supplies direction for improving our continuous efforts to provide the highest quality education for all students and ensure their success inside and outside the classroom.

Activities Around Galer

Gingerbread Houses

The Galer Kindergarten students had a great time making Gingerbread Houses with their parents.

 

First Grade Field Trip

These first grade students went on a field trip to Middleton Place to learn all about the Colonial days in celebration of Thanksgiving.

 

Animal Museum

These second grade students had a super time researching on the computer and in books about their selected animal. The students learned about food chains, habitats, adaptations and classification of the animals. Not only did they make wonderful displays and models, create the special animal museum where they conducted presentations, they also learned about their fellow classmate's animals. This class invited other Galer students, staff and parents to hear their presentations.
