Group Shelters

*** Policy for Reserving Group Shelters ***

Reservations may be made on the Internet at Recreation.gov, or by calling Reserve America toll-free at 1-877-444-6777.  A signed copy of the Proctor Lake Group Shelter Policy must be submitted to the local lake office prior to occupation of the facility.

COPPERAS CREEK GROUP AREA #1

A group shelter and a parking area with 14 designated camping spaces, 12 with electrical and water hookups. This shelter has four 8 foot tables. No more than one camping unit per campsite will be allowed. A flush toilet with showers is located within 200 feet of the area. A fee of $130.00 will be charged for each 24 hour period of use or portion thereof.

COPPERAS CREEK GROUP AREA#2

A group shelter and a parking area with 8 designated camping spaces, with electrical and water hookups. This shelter has four 8 foot tables. No more than one camping unit per campsite will be allowed. A flush toilet with showers is located within 200 feet of the area. A fee of $100.00 will be charged for each 24 hour period of use or portion thereof.

SOWELL CREEK GROUP AREA #1

An enclosed group shelter with air conditioned kitchen and rest rooms. It has a parking area with 14 designated camping spaces, with electrical and water hookups. This shelter has four 8 foot tables. No more than one camping unit per campsite will be allowed. A flush toilet with showers is located within 300 feet of the area. A fee of $190.00 will be charged for each 24 hour period of use or portion thereof.

PROMONTORY GROUP AREA #1

A group shelter and a parking area with 8 designated camping spaces, with electrical and water hookups. This shelter has four 8 foot tables. No more than one camping unit per campsite will be allowed. This group shelter is 100 feet away from a toilet, and a flush toilet with showers is available for use in the park. A fee of $90.00 will be charged for each 24 hour period of use or portion thereof.

PROMONTORY GROUP AREA #3

A group shelter and a parking area with 10 designated camping spaces, with water and electrical hookups. This shelter has four 8 foot tables. No more than one camping unit per campsite will be allowed. A flush toilet with showers is located within 900 feet of the area. A fee of $130.00 will be charged for each 24 hour period of use or portion thereof.CLOSED DUE TO FLOOD DAMAGE.

A group shelter and a parking area with 8 designated camping spaces, with electrical and water hookups. This shelter has four 8 foot tables. No more than one camping unit per campsite will be allowed. A flush toilet with showers is located within 300 feet of the area. A fee of $100.00 will be charged for each 24 hour period of use or portion thereof. CLOSED DUE TO FLOOD DAMAGE.
