Sand Key map
Sand Key is a highly developed section of the west-Florida Coast, and includes many popular beaches such as Redington Beach, Madiera Beach, and Indian Rocks Beach. Many beach nourishment projects have occurred in this area.

In some areas, beach erosion has left high-value properties with no beach for recreation or for protection from storms.
