Non-DoD Schools Program
This site provides information for DoD families who will be serving in an overseas area where DoDEA does not operate a school. At these locations, DoD Education Activity (DoDEA) supports a variety of options for your children ranging from home-based schooling programs to private or public schools. The Non-DoD Schools Program (NDSP) provides support and funding for the education of authorized command-sponsored dependents of military members and DoD civilian employees assigned to overseas areas where no DoD Dependents School is available within the commuting area. The NDSP-Americas is responsible for locations throughout Central and South Americas, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean Islands. Local NDSP liaison have been established at all locations to assist sponsors with registration and to facilitate the funding process.
