  AT THIS HQ ON 26 JULY 2000.  PER REF A, ELIGIBLE AR ENLISTED MARINES
  MAY APPLY TO THE SUBJECT BOARD.  COMPLETE ORIGINAL APPLICATIONS WITH
  ENCLOSURES AND CHAIN OF COMMAND ENDORSEMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE
  CMC (RAM-2) NLT 17 JULY 2000.  FORMAT MUST BE IAW ENCL (2) OF REF A.
  2.  APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING ELIGIBILITY
  CRITERIA:
      A.  BE CAREER DESIGNATED ON THE AR PROGRAM.
      B.  MUST HAVE COMPLETED RECRUITERS SCHOOL AND BE ASSIGNED    AN ADDITIONAL MOS OF 8411.
      C.  MUST BE A GUNNERY SERGEANT OR A GUNNERY SERGEANT SELECT,
  AND NOT HAVE FAILED SELECTION FOR PROMOTION TO MASTER SERGEANT.
      D.  MUST BE CURRENTLY SERVING IN A PRIOR SERVICE RECRUITING
  8411 BILLET WITH AT LEAST SIX MONTHS AS A SITE NCOIC.
      E.  MUST HAVE SUFFICIENT OBLIGATED SERVICE OR AGREE TO
  REENLIST OR EXTEND TO COMPLETE A THREE YEAR TOUR AS A
  CAREER RECRUITER.
      F.  MUST MEET CURRENT HEIGHT AND WEIGHT STANDARDS CONTAINED
  IN REF C AND PASSED A PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST (PFT) WITHIN THE PAST
  SEMIANNUAL PERIOD.  NO PARTIAL PFT'S OR MEDICALLY EXCUSED APPLICANTS
  WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR CLASSIFICATION AS A CAREER RECRUITER.
      G.  DATE IN CURRENT GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION MUST HAVE BEGUN
  ON OR BEFORE 1 DECEMBER 1998.
  3.  IN ADDITION, PRIOR SERVICE RECRUITING REGIONAL OIC'S WILL ENSURE
  THAT THE APPLICANT HAS:
      A.  THE ABILITY TO POSITIVELY INFLUENCE THE DIRECTION
  AND QUALITY OF THE RECRUITING EFFORT AND LEAD, INSPIRE, AND MOTIVATE
  MARINES IN A RECRUITING ENVIRONMENT.
      B.  CONSISTENTLY ACHIEVED QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE GOALS.
         C.  EFFECTIVELY USED AUTOMATED SYSTEMATIC RECRUITING
  POLICIES AND PROCEDURES OUTLINED IN THE CURRENT EDITION OF THE
  RESERVE PRIOR SERVICE RECRUITING GUIDE, VOLUME III.
      D.  NO CASES OF SUBSTANTIATED RECRUITING MALPRACTICE.
      E.  NO INDICATIONS OF UNSATISFACTORY CONDUCT, FINANCIAL,
  PERSONAL, OR FAMILY HARDSHIP AS A PRODUCTION RECRUITER OR NCOIC.
      F.  PERFORMED SATISFACTORILY AS A PRODUCTION PRIOR SERVICE
  RECRUITER FOR TWO YEARS AND AS A NCOIC OF A RECRUITING SITE FOR
  AT LEAST SIX MONTHS.
  4.  THE CG, MCRSC ENDORSEMENT MUST INCLUDE THE SCORE ATTAINED
  ON THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION ADMINISTERED BY MCRSC RECRUITING DIVISION.
