SECTION OF THE ENLISTED ASSIGNMENT BRANCH AT HEADQUARTERS, U.S.
MARINE CORPS (MMEA-6) WILL HOST THE 2001 CAREER PLANNER CONFERENCE.
2. THE CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD 24-26 JULY 2001.
3. THE CONFERENCE WILL BE LOCATED AT LIVERSEDGE HALL, LIVERSEDGE DR,
QUANTICO, VA 22134.
4. THE CONFERENCE IS INTENDED FOR MAJOR COMMAND CAREER PLANNING
SNCOICS FROM MCCDC, TECOM, MATCOM, MCRC, MARFORLANT, MARFORPAC,
I MEF, II MEF, III MEF, 1ST FSSG, 2D FSSG, 3D FSSG, 1ST MAW,
2D MAW, 3D MAW, 1ST MARDIV, 2D MARDIV, 3D MARDIV, MCB QUANTICO,
COMCABEAST, COMCABWEST, MCAS FUTENMA, MCAS IWAKUNI, I MHG, II MHG,
MCB CAMP LEJEUNE, MCB CAMP PENDLETON, MCLB ALBANY, MCB CAMP BUTLER,
MCLB BARSTOW, MCRD PARRIS ISLAND, MCRD SAN DIEGO, MCAGCC TWENTYNINE
PALMS, MARFORRES, MCSFBN, AND MARBKS 8TH & I. IN ADDITION TO THE
COMMAND CAREER PLANNER SNCOIC'S, EACH COMMAND MAY SEND A SECOND
CAREER PLANNER. DUE TO LOGISTICAL CONSTRAINTS, ATTENDANCE IS
LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM OF (2) CAREER PLANNERS FROM EACH COMMAND.
5. THE PURPOSE OF THE CONFERENCE IS TO PROVIDE A FORUM TO:
A. PRESENT AND DISCUSS CURRENT CAREER PLANNING ISSUES.
B. REVIEW AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE EXECUTION OF THE FY
2002 RETENTION CAMPAIGN.
6. FUNDING FOR CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF
THE PARENT COMMAND.
7. UNIFORM FOR THE CONFERENCE IS BLUE DRESS "D". ATTENDEES
SHOULD ALSO BRING GREEN-ON-GREEN PT GEAR.
8. COMMANDS SHOULD IDENTIFY ATTENDEES NLT 2 JULY 2001 TO CMC
(MMEA-6). NOTIFICATION MAY BE MADE VIA NAVAL MESSAGE, TELEPHONE,
OR EMAIL.

PROCEDURES, LATERAL MOVE PROCEDURES, ENLISTED CAREER FORCE CONTROLS
(ECFC), ENLISTED RETENTION TASK FORCE UPDATE, SURVIVOR BENEFIT PLAN,
RETENTION ASSIST VISIT/INSPECTOR GENERAL (IG) REQUIREMENTS, AND
WORKING GROUPS ON CAREER RETENTION SPECIALIST STRUCTURE, ADVANCED
CAREER RETENTION SPECIALIST COURSE, STANDARDIZATION OF CAREER
RETENTION SPECIALIST FORMS, AND CAREERIST RETENTION INCENTIVES.
