Antarctic Seismic Data Library System for Cooperative Research (SDLS)

Stylized ship, streamer, and acoustic reflections

The Antarctic Seismic Data Library System provides open access worldwide to Antarctic multichannel seismic-reflection data collected by many countries to study the structure of the earth's crust of Antarctica. This page provides links to answers for many common questions about the SDLS, and how the library system can be used by all researchers.

The Antarctic Seismic Data Library System has moved!

There are two web sites that now provide open access to the Antarctic multichannel seismic-reflection data online.

http://dbserver.ogs.trieste.it/SDLS/ -- Operated and administered at the Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS) by Nigel Wardell.

http://scar-sdls.org/ -- Operated and administered at the U.S. Geological Survey Western Coastal and Marine Geology (WCMG) division by Alan Cooper and Jon Childs.
