Geospatial Data

Geospatial data is a digital collection of points, lines, polygons, or pixels, along with an associated database. This data, when used with some kind of GIS software, can be manipulated to produce maps or perform complex spatial analyses. Geospatial data is not a formatted map. Maps can be found in Sections I & II of the eFOTG.

Montana has a very proactive GIS community. As a result, Montana has a wealth of GIS data. Select the links on the map or skip to the text list below to learn more and download digital data.
