Moscow Bureau Chief Peter Fedynsky began his VOA career with the Ukrainian Service in 1978. For more than 11 years he was anchor of “Window on America,” a weekly television news magazine broadcast throughout Ukraine. During the collapse of Communism, Peter was assigned to the East Europe/USSR desk in the VOA Newsroom. He also authored a radio series on democracy and served as a guide on two U.S. Information Agency exhibits in the former Soviet Union. He graduated from Ohio’s Bowling Green State University, where participated in exchange programs to Austria and Brazil. As an amateur photographer, he has documented the life of Ukrainian-Americans since 1966. Peter also enjoys carpentry and tennis. |
