Topics of the conference include, but are not limited to: integrating building materials salvage, reuse, and recycling within the broader sustainability and green building fields; engaging design, construction, and demolition professionals in deconstruction, reuse & recycling activities; urban policies; obstacles and opportunities for material reuse and recycling. The call for presentations is open until January 15, 2009. The Building Materials Reuse Association (BMRA) is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to facilitate building deconstruction and the reuse/recycling of recovered building materials.
