The City of Houston, Texas is sponsoring a nationwide recycling contest to gather ideas on how best to use the estimated 5.6 million cubic yards of tree debris generated by Hurricane Ike. The contest is offering prizes of $10,000, $5,000 and $2,500 for the top three ideas.
