Federal Green Challenge Webinar Series Now Open!

Beginning Wednesday, October 8, 2008, EPA R10 will kick off its FREE sustainability webinar series for federal employees. Join R10 in the first of a series of free webinars designed specifically for the federal audience on how to minimize your carbon footprint.

To kick off the Federal Green Challenge Webinar series, we have asked sustainability practitioners from three federal agencies, USEPA Region 10, US Postal Service and USDA Forest Service, to talk about what sustainability means to them and give examples of how their offices apply sustainability principles to their work.

EPA Region 10 has worked with a team to provide "Sustainability and EPA" training for hundreds of EPA employees and will talk about sustainability and systems thinking; US Postal Service will talk about how it has reorganized their senior leadership to meet the challenge of being more sustainable, and US Forest Service will discuss tying it's environmental footprint to it's land management mission.
