Topographic Mapping - obtain existing topography and planimetric features (roads, buildings, rivers, lakes, vegetation, etc.)
Utility Surveys - locate and verify existing above- and below-ground utilities.
Subsurface Utility Locating - utility locating and air/vacuum excavation operations to pinpoint underground utility locations, pipe/duct condition and size.
Aerial Photography - Including LiDAR, satellite imagery, digital terrain and elevation models (DTM and DEM) and digital orthophoto mapping.
Land/Cadastral Surveys - locate and/or re-establish section lines or corners, and location/verification of boundary and property lines, rights-of-way, easements, and preparation of legal descriptions of a parcel of land.
Hydrographic Surveys - chart bottom profiles of streams, rivers, lakes and harbors, and obtain river and bridge cross-section data.
Dam Deformation Surveys - assist in monitoring of horizontal and vertical movement of dams.
Quality Assurance Surveys - taken during construction to assist the field in assuring contracted quantities are correct.
As-Built Surveys - final conditions after construction of a project.
Control Surveys - locate existing or establish new temporary or permanent benchmarks and control monuments.
Master Plan Mapping - update ground control, utility and site information for the major field office activities covered by the District.
