Flood Preparedness, Response, Recovery
The Flood Preparedness, Response and Recovery Program provides trained teams to save lives and reduce flood damage to communities.

Continuity of Operations The Continuity of Operations Program provides plans, training and exercises to ensure delivery of mission essential functions following a catastrophic disaster, such as an earthquake or terrorist event. POC: Jeff Hepler |
Emergency Operations Center The Emergency Management Branch coordinates staff and provides resources for the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located on the 10th Floor of the Robert Duncan Building.

Rapid Response Vehicle One of six Rapid Response Vehicles in the Corps and a team of technicians and drivers is stationed in Portland to provide emergency communications in the Pacific Northwest during disaster response. POC: Jeff Hepler |
Debris Team The Portland District is one of seven Corps Districts that maintains an interdisciplinary team trained to remove, reduce and recycle debris following a disaster. POC: Jeff Hepler |
Emergency Communications The Emergency Communications Program provides plans, training and exercises so that reliable communication capability will exist following a local disaster. Equipment includes VHF and HF radios and cellular and satellite phones. POC: Jeff Hepler |
Support to FEMA The Emergency Management Branch receives requests for personnel from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) during Presidentially declared disasters and provides qualified responders. POC: Les Miller |
Global War on Terrorism The Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) Program provides Corps employees for engineering support and services to US and/or NATO forces.
