Project and Contents Description
The Foreign Climate Data Imaging Project preserves and disseminates unique climatological data from 58 countries held at the NOAA Central Library. The time period of coverage ranges from the 1830s through the 1970s. Each series typically includes observations for a number of parameters: surface temperature, precipitation, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction, soil temperature, radiation, sunshine, cloudiness, upper air measurements and geomagnetism.
